Shadow Point (PSVR)
This week a game I scored, Shadow Point, was released on Playstation VR. Its a fantasy puzzle adventure featuring the sublime vocal chops of Sir Patrick Stewart. The official soundtrack is available to stream or purchase. I discuss some of the inspiration behind the music in the video below (contains minor spoilers).
New YouTube videos
Throughout March I’ve been going deep into the rabbit hole of learning how to make videos - lighting, cameras, graphics, editing… I’m a total beginner and my brain is absolutely buzzing with all the new learnings ✨ Here are some of the fruits of my labour:

Sounds of Anime - すごい です!
I recently purchased two excellent sound effect libraries for a mobile game I’m working on. They were Vintage Anime SFX by Moon Echo Audio and Anime Comedy by WOW sound.
Both are chock full of “I’ll know it when I hear it” type sounds and are a great resource for those times you’re not quite sure what to type into the search bar. The vintage one is a tad more practical - beams and blasters that sound like they’re straight out of Neon Genesis Evangelion. On the other hand, the comedy pack excels in more abstract elements - transitions, emotes, impacts.
I’ll put the previews below as a fun coffee break activity ☕️

Bondeko by Gerald Toto, Richard Bona & Lokua Kanza
This month I’d like to feature Bondeko as my recommended listening. In particular check out the track Love Train - a gorgeously left-field acapella tune with melty harmonies. The last track on the album Awo features a great little hook that’s sure to get stuck in your head.
🙏 That’s it, thanks for listening! By the way, you can also find me on - Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. If you enjoyed reading this feel free to share it with others.
